The theatre universe is full of activity and if you want to witness rustic life , as imagined in Rudyard Kipling’s novels, then Kamshet Arts Festival takes you there.The Kamshet rustic life  has been the birth point of some exciting work in Indian theatre from :Piya Behrupia, Noise Off and  Khwaab Sa. It has also worked as a theatre training and  retreat for artists from India and round the planet.

The Company Theatre has created pieces from physical mime to absurdist drama, to clown adventures to musical sagas. The pieces have travelled to The Globe Theatre in London, US, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, China, Yugoslavia; not to miss out small towns like Bareilly and Indore. TCT has also formulated platforms for dialogue with architects, scientists, corporates, environmentalists and individuals from various fields of expertise.

The Company Theatre and Sandbox Collective invite you to Kamshet Arts Festival on the 29 th April, 7 pm.The inauguration will be followed by festivities all through the night with a sunset-to-sunrise program that celebrates theatre, dance and music with some of the most acclaimed performers in their fields.The workspace is surrounded by a lake, has farming and a kitchen to regale yourself.The entry is free and open to all. This is a third edition of the Kamshet Arts Festival.

Sandbox Collective a Bangalore based arts collective, acts as a catalyst to facilitate meaningful collaborations with national and international artists, cultural agencies and art spaces. It has performed nearly 500 shows across the country.
